The Joy Tour of South Korea was a whirlwind of demo's, sessions and the odd best trick contest across five major cities (Seoul, Incheon, Jeonju, Daegu and Busan) which was hosted by Jae Sung Choi who invited Japan's Ryo Sejiri and English ruler Korahn Gayle.
Alongside all the skating, there were chances for the visitors to experience first- hand the diverse culture of this little- explored nation.
Having someone as a host who can take you inside a society is undoubtedly the best way to make a trip more than just lines filmed and boards broken, and so it proved to be in this trip which will surely live long in the memories of all involved.
