New Eflite Blade mCPX BL First Flight Review
Finally got a real flight in today. Really impressive for a small heli. The brushless power plant made a difference in power and all I have to say is that I really enjoyed the first flight.
The flips and tail response was a little slow, but that can easily be improved by swapping blades and adjusting some settings. I was using the recommended settings according to the manual.
Here's a few things I notice about the recommended settings:
1.) 40% expo is too much for me. It made the heli feel sluggish. I will mess around with it some more and will post another vid on my setup.
2.) First few flights set the timer for 2 minutes. This way you can break in the lipos easy and give it better performance over time.
3.) Check blade tightness. I notice one was the blade grips was a little too loose. This caused the blades to go slightly off track when spooled up :) Blades only need to be barely tight in the grips.
4.) That's pretty much it
