On the back of the LE Francesco Totti Legend Boots, Nike have added have re-introduced their famous “10R” range launching a LE edition Tiempo Legend V for Ronaldinho.
One word: class. Like what they did for Totti back in March, Nike have re-created the 10R Tiempo range into today’s Tiempo Legend V. Limited to 3000 pairs globally, the new boots are white and gold are inspired by Brazilian legend’s iconic 10R boot range launched in late 2006.
Ronaldinho was Nike’s second ever footballer to have his own signature boot range after Ronaldo (Mercurial Vapor), remember the Ronaldinho crossbar ad? (The first Youtube video to reach 1 million views). Nike produced a special White and Gold Air Tiempo for World’s best player who sky rocketed the Air Tiempo boot sales across the globe.
Design wise everything about the boot screams class, from the solid white leather upper to the golden trim applications on the sole, signature details and Big Swoosh logos. The Big Swoosh logos feature en elegant metallic gold finish while Ronaldinho’s “10R” logo is embroidered on the fold-over tongue.
The sole features arguably the most classic touch of the boot with a gold and white gradient design used and Ronaldinho’s name and number etched on the forefoot with half of his name on each boot. Additional golden trim applications adorn the sockliner while the specific model code is etched on the heel.
Tech Specs wise we are looking at an Alegria leather make-up which is much softer and higher quality than the standard K-Leather, while a classic fold-over tongue is used to provide a cleaner striking surface on top of your laces. A central lacing system and nylon chassis with conical studs for a stable, flexible and comfortable playing experience under your feet.
