I've been accused of a lot of things over the years -- but the best that this councilor from the South Waikato District Council could come up with was that I don't own a dog. Meanwhile, the Mayor refused to answer two simple questions about why she unilaterally reversed a statement from council that people should be allowed to fly drones in Tokoroa's parks.
Yes, it really as bad as it looks here.
And for the record, the two brave councilors who were prepared to confirm that permission had been given to fly drones in the parks are Councilor Peter Schulte and Councillor Arama Ngapo Lipscome. These councilors are heros and are actually honouring the promises they gave the people of the district when they ran for election -- the mayor and the councilor who accused me of not having a dog.... not so much.
