In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew talks to Kim Quenette, the Air Team Manager at Thunder Power RC (/), during their visit to FlySafe 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada (). Quenette made a major announcement during their conversation: Thunder Power is developing high-voltage Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) batteries specifically for the multirotor market, with a nominal charge of 3.8 volts per cell, rather than the 3.7 volts delivered by conventional LiPos. The release of this information has been embargoed since last week, pending the official announcement by Thunder Power at the iHobby Expo in Schaumburg, Illinois.
