In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Cliff Whitney of Atlanta Hobby () at FlySafe 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada (), about his new Vortex hexacopter. Produced utilizing an aerospace-grade 3D printer, the Vortex multirotor is designed to accommodate the DJI E600 power system and the NAZA2 flight controller. Capable of delivering flying times in excess of 20 minutes while carrying an H3-3D gimbal and either a conventional FPV video transmitter or the new DJI Lightbridge, the Vortex is powered by 6S, 16,000mAH lithium-polymer battery.
