eFest 2015 was recently held at the University of Illinois Track and Field Armory in Champaign, Illinois, and once again it was a rousing success! Thousands of visitors attended the hugely popular event to see the latest in indoor R/C aircraft on display, including quadcopters, helis and fixed-wing models. They also got to see them in action, watching nationally known pilots engage in competitions that included obstacle courses, limbo contests and balloon-burst dogfighting. Youngsters got to hand-launch free-flight gliders that they assembled themselves at the “Make It, Take It” center, and the Night Flying finale featuring LED-equipped aircraft was a highlight of the event.
