Pros
- Altitude hold feature. No need to constantly adjust throttle to maintain altitude. This greatly eases FPV flying.
- WiFi FPV. Uses your smartphone to view and record real time in-flight video.
- Can control the hexacopter via its smartphone app. Or if more precise control is desired, you can also use its provided transmitter/controller. Note that there is also a lower cost version available without transmitter, intended for those who only wish to use their smartphone to control the aircraft. But I do recommend the transmitter version as it does provide better control. The link above is for the transmitter version.
- Very stable flier, primarily intended for beginner FPV fliers. It can do flips, but don't expect high speed aggressive flying with this.
- Very inexpensive for an FPV flier with altitude hold.
- One key automatic takeoff and landing.
- Small and lightweight, does not require FAA registration.
Cons
- Does not have headless mode or one key return.
- Camera resolution is only 0.3 MP (480p). Received WiFi video is recorded to the smartphone, and can be choppy based on reception.
- Although the transmitter can control the Hexacopter out past 50 meters, its FPV reception range is limited at about 20 to 30 meters. As such, outdoor FPV flying should mainly be limited to your backyard or small parks.
