Jupiter and moons (RunCam Eagle sensor)

I bought a cheap telescope recently, now experimenting with ways to record images/video from it. The DVR parts are recorded with my Fatshark goggles, via VTX. I also tried a RunCam Swift but it was not as good as the Eagle, at least at night. In daytime the Swift wins but I think only because the sensor itself is IR-blocking. In the Eagle the IR filter is on the lens, so when the lens is removed it becomes IR sensitive - which is why the colors are not very good in this footage. The Eagle is more convenient because the lens opening is wider, so I can use it while still inside the orange case. The lens opening on the Swift case is narrower, and this seems to hinder focusing so I had to take the board right out of the case to get a good picture. In future I will be experimenting with the Xiaomi Yi for this. It works ok with lens removed like the RunCams, but because the sensor is quite deep inside the case it has the same focusing problem as the Swift. Need to try a little more teardown I think. I think the Xiaomi Yi would be great for this because it can do both HD and analog video out, it has an LCD screen to check when aiming the scope, and it can be remotely controlled via the wifi connection (apparently with various scripting capabilities). The 4k version can do 30 second exposures too.
