Its goal is to serve as an educational supplement to the “Know Before You Fly” campaign launched the the FAA, the AMA, and AUVSI. It provides useful information for all new pilots, whether they are flying airplanes, multirotors or other radio-controlled platforms, with or without First-Person View (FPV) systems, telemetry, autopilots or additional advanced flight technology. It includes briefings about the fundamentals of flight, the National Airspace System, aviation safety, weather, ethical considerations and FAA registration.
