In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew reviews the DroneMax A40 off-grid battery charger for drones from DJI and Yuneec, such as the Mavic, Phantom and Typhoon aircraft. This rugged, metal housing protected by a heavy-duty rubber bumper contains a 414 watt-hour battery, sufficient to re-charge multiple drone batteries when no wall current is available. The A40 also includes a pair of high-performance USB chargers for re-charging your tablet or smartphone or other accessories. The A40 arrives in a zippered case, which also includes an AC inverter for charting the unit, in addition to four sets of charge leads for the Mavic, Phantom 3, Phantom 4, and generic leads for use with Yuneec drones. The A40 is produced by Energen, which manufactures a series of off-grid battery chargers for drones.
