Vifly X150 Fast 150mm FPV Racer Drone Flight Test Review

Don't be fooled by its size. This 150 racer is very zippy and powerful. NO FAA REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Find it here
Pros
- As with all Vifly products, this one has obviously been tested and tuned before release. VIFLY is one of the few drone makers that actually does this. Their products require almost no fiddling and no aggravation. This one is no exception, and you can feel the work that went into developing and testing this one as soon you leave the ground.
- Light weight and efficient. You're not overpowering a brick through the air as compared to other FPV racers. Total weight only 237 grams with 4S 550mah battery (170 grams with no battery). This mean no FAA registration required. Also means low momentum in crashes lowering chance of damage. And finally improved flight performance and flight time over similar sized quads. I got over 4 1/2 minutes flight time in this video with a small 4S 550mah 80C battery. That's about the same flight time that this battery provides my tiny micro FPV racers.
- Available RTF, or BNF Frsky (D16 XM+), DSMX, and Flysky
- 600TVL CCD camera
- On screen display configurable via Betaflight
- FPV transmitter with selectable power levels of 25/200/600mW
- Omnibus F4 FCB loaded with Betaflight 3.2.4
- 4 in 1 DShot600 20A ESC
- Vifly/Sunnysky 1406 KV3300 motors
Cons
- Although 150 sized, this is a fast and powerful drone. Wouldn't advise flying this in the same places that you fly your micro racers (this may not be small park friendly). You should keep this one a distance from people.
- Proprietary stack components with proprietary electrical connections. You'll have to get replacements from Vifly if damaged. However, again this should be a rugged drone due to its low mass/momentum.
