In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks to Jeff Simon of the Venom Group about the company's new line of batteries designed and built specifically for drones. Among its new products are replacement batteries for the DJI Phantom 2 and Phantom 3 quadcopters which include an OLED display, providing detailed information about power level, cell balance and the number of charge cycles. Venom is also manufacturing 6,000 mAH batteries for the Yuneec Typhoon, as well as conventional lithium-polymer batteries with removable balance leads, to protect them from potential damage.
