Eachine Wizard TS215 215mm FPV Racing Drone Detailed breakdown - Banggood.com Link.I have already flown the Eachine Wizard TS215 as of this posting. The Eachine Wizard TS215 flew very well, more good for freestyling than racing in this configuration but you can make mods to the Eachine Wizard TS215 if you want to use this as an FPV racing drone. For the most part, this is a good way to start with a cheap drone, then as you get added experience, it becomes a workable upgrade /mod project that will bring you into the world of building your own drones.
As far as the onboard DVR is concerned, there really is n o working with it. it should be and can be removed. AndyRC has done a great video where he shows you how to remove it. here is a link to the spot in the video where he removes it
MODS i would Make as Follows ( just my preference):
Change Flight Controller (because of the way it is mounted not due to the Chip used.)
Remove DVR (appears it cannot be disabled prior to flight)
Add Different VTX (personal preference)
Secure ESCs with foam padding and Tape (must have)
Add vibration dampening to flight controller (must have)
The Eachine Wizard TS215 motors are very good and powerful, ESCs offer a good range of battery use.
its seems silly to have a Flight controller rated at 3s-5s when the ESC and Motors are rated at 2S-6S.Also do not take this advice/info wrong, the Eachine Wizard TS215 is good as for a casual flyer, something to have some fun with. but to stand up to the rigors of racing, i feel like some things would have to change on the Eachine Wizard TS215.
