In this video I will show you how to build a very cheap and easy to build multicontroller for LED lights, fans, etc. By using only 1 channel from your receiver, you can control 7 individual outputs. I also used the device for igniting fireworks from a RC airplane:
Multiswitch:
Transmitter + receiver:
BEC:
Battery:
If you use a 3S (12V) lithium polymer battery, the output from the multiswitch will be 12V. If you use a 2S (7.4V), the output will be 7.4V. That's why it's a good idea to use a 3S, since it's more common for electronics to require 12V.
The multiswitch is connected to the receiver, and by using a spare channel, like the "gear-channel", you can control the 7 different outputs by flicking the switch associated with that specific channel. You can change between 9 different modes, basically in what order the switch should activate the outputs, and if only for a second or constant.
This is a perfect device for custom LED lighting on your RC car, airplane, drone or anything of that nature.
