Parkzone Trojan T-28 - Motor Upgrade
This Trojan T-28 was my first plane and is still one of my favorites. I just treated it to a bit of an upgrade and installed the same motor/esc that I put in my Wildcat. Because it is a larger plane, the performance gains were more modest but I still have to mess around with a few different props to find the sweet spot. As it is, it is quite a bit faster than stock and has unlimited vertical. This is the first and second flights with the new combo.
Motor: Turnigy 35-36c 1100kv
Motor Mount: Custom RC Parts
ESC: Turnigy Plush 60 amp
Prop: MAS 11x6
Note: I have since switched to an APC 12x6 prop and it is much better. I think it's the perfect choice.
