3D Printing Tip: How I Use Less PLA (or any material) When Printing a 3D Prototype

I just wanted to share the process I've been using lately to minimize the amount of PLA I use while 3D printing on my MakerBot Replicator 2. It's been trial and error for the last couple of years, but I've found these approaches to be helpful when working on new prototypes.
