This is forgotten footage from New Years Day at the club. Kris brought out his rough and ready 48" Extreme Flight MXS and challenged Harv to see if he could fly the wings off it. Well as you will see, the wings made it down just fine with the rest of the plane when it landed. Nice flying Harv!
Kris threw this plane together with a bunch of stuff he had laying around including three cheap 9 gram servos from HobbyKing with a Hitec servo for the elevator, a Turnigy 3542 800kv motor swinging a 12x6 APC prop. The ESC is an Align that came out of his 550 heli.
We’re hoping the rain will go away soon so we can start flying again. It’s been a very wet winter with dull grey clouds all the time.
