On July 1st a crowd of 30,000 spectators lining the Krylatskoye cycle track witnessed the first Red Bull Soapbox Race held in Russia. 60 homemade "racing cars" arrived from across Russia to take part in the competition, but few were able to make it past treacherous obstacles, banked curves, and drops to the finish line.
