Here are all the tips about using these Automated Retractable Landing Skids (Optional Sensor will be available soon):
1.) The raise up at 150cm (5ft) actuation distance.
Sensor:
Couple of quick tips about the sensor:
1. Find a fairly flat and level surface to take off and land from so the sensor can get an accurate reading of the ground and the distance in order to actuate the gear.
2. The built-in strobe indicator light will come on when your gear are down and ready to land and will increase intensity as you get closer to the ground. the strobe will then go off completely when the gear are up and you are flying.
3. To be safe, stay in the 2-3s Lipo input power range to prevent burn out in the sensor. You can power the sensor from the main quad battery or a small external battery.
