This Star Wars drone is something special. So much so that I separated its review into three parts. This is part 2, its flight review. The Star Wars drones come in three versions including Tie Fighter , X-Wing Fighter , and the 74-Z Speeder Bike . Each is hand painted and numbered.
The Speeder Bike is a great flier that comes with lighted display case that plays soundtracks from the movies. The controller also has many sound effects, and flight control modes, including a trainer mode that automatically restricts the bike's altitude between one to two meters (can't hit the ground, and can't hit the ceiling). Or turn off the training mode and altitude hold for maximum maneuverability. Can also fight battles against up to 12 other Star Wars vehicles using its built-in IR lasers.
Also included is a simulator app that works via Bluetooth connection through the provided controller. Part 3 covers review of this simulator.
