Completely reconstructed and redesigned to compose a premium and technology-rich boot, Puma have revealed their latest evoPOWER 1.3 creation of which poses as the third generation of Puma’s power range worn by the likes of Yaya Toure, Mario Balotelli, Cesc Fabregas, and Olivier Giroud.
Posing as a solitary figure within the boot market as the only significant power boot on offer, the evoPOWER proves highly popular with both professional and recreational players due to the performance enhancing technologies and high comfort levels experienced.
In terms of updates and upgrades from its 1.2 predecessor, the brand-new evoPOWER 1.3 features a similar upper of Adaptlite and AccuFoam however provides an increased dampened touch through the softer and added cushion characteristic of which features across the toe-box, forefoot, and side panels.
The launch colour-way sees a striking yet aesthetic combination of Safety Yellow at the toe-box transform into Atomic Blue towards the heel-cup through an intricate gradient design, whilst finishing touches of black compose Puma’s iconic Formstripe across the lateral panel and additional Puma, evoPOWER, and Adaptlite branding at the back of the boot, medial heel-cup, and toe-box respectively.
Whilst the upper has been handed changes to maximise kicking velocity and accuracy, the sole plate has also undergone innovation to showcase a newly designed outsole of a lightweight Pebax structure with duoflex and Gradual Stability Frame technologies to allow for additional flexion of the foot increasing a barefoot effect.
Competing against Nike and adidas technology, Puma have incorporated a treatment upon their evoPOWER 1.3 upper to ensure consistent performance when touching and striking the ball donned GripTex of which challenges ACC (All Conditions Control) and NSG (Non-Stop Grip).
