Here's a flight with my V450D03. Flown stock with no adjustment other than fixing the pitch curve in normal to have 0 pitch at mid stick.
I notice the Walkera 6-axis FBL system is sensitive to temperature change. I flew it a few times when the outside temps were around 90 degrees and it flew good. In this video the temps was in the low 70's and the heli felt more sensitive to stick input. I forgot the plastic screw driver so I wasn't able to adjust the gain. Or it just could have been me sense this was the first flight in a while lol
For those was were saying the servos will fail and the motor overheats. Well mines so far has not shown any issue. The motor temp was not hot at all. It was about 100 deg max. I can hold my finger on the motor and barely feel any heat. The tail servo was not hot like some have mention on the forums. The ESC actually ran cooler today after I reamed the ball links and now they move freely. Everything was working well within what I look for in a heli.
The 6-Axis system out the box may feel weird to some people. Mess with the gains a little and get it to your liking. I like the way the stock settings is. Some may not. It does feel kinda robotic at some points, but I think Walkera programmed EXPO into the unit already so it takes more stick movement to move it around. The key to this heli is to find that sweet spot for the stick movements and it will fly like it's on rails. The Walkera FBL system doesn't like too much stick correction in flight. What this means is you point it where you want it to go and it will go. Don't try to counter in too much movement to counter the wind. The system will do that for you. It feels weird compared to a standard flybar heli, but you will get used to it :)
