RC ADVENTURES - JUMPiNG A HUUGE RC TRUCK! The KRAKEN VEKTA 5 - FiRST WINTER BASH SESSiON!

WHAT DO YOU DO, When the Snow KEEPS Falling?! MAKE BIG JUMPS, and JUMP BiG RC TRUCKS! The Snow is sticky, and just right, and my Kraken Vekta 5 (1/5th scale) Race / Bash Truck is ready to launch. So many of us have waited for this moment.
Fortunately for me, it is only -2c today.. and the snow is verrrry sticky...Snowball-like. The down fall of that.. is it makes my truck VERY HEAVY when its loaded up! Stock Weight of this truck is about 43lbs with Engine installed - and with this type of snow - a truck can easily weigh 60lbs at any given time.
Whats amazing about the torque on this truck is the Kraken is SO powerful, that on a slippery surface (ice and snow) you can really get some amazing wheels speed and rooster tails of snow/mud!
Im interested in the new Kraken tires that have been floating around.. I wonder if they would be any better in the snow. Either way.. I put a beat down on this truck today.. and it took every lick. The ONLY issue I had was an ERROR on MY PART.. where a Set Screw wasnt tight enough on the back camber adjustment. It allowed my axle to pop free. It was a 5 minute fix... and I was ready to go for next time.
As a side note - a complete tear down is a good idea when running in snow and ice. I always clear and re-grease my bearings - lubricating all joints and such. Also note, I use water proof servos and electronics - which make it easier to clean up after a sloppy bash session!
