We compare the graphics of FIFA 18 on last-gen PS3, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The FIFA 18 on last-gen is called legacy edition: A ‘Legacy Edition’ of EA SPORTS FIFA consists of kit and squad updates to reflect the latest changes in the world of football. Legacy Editions do not include any new gameplay features or innovations. The Nintendo Switch version is based on last gen, but obviously quite polished with sharp textures and additional graphics effects. It runs with native 1080p and 60 fps and looks nice taken into consideration that it is a portable device.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von FIFA 18 auf Last-Gen PS3 mit der PS4 und Nintendo Switch. Die PS3 Version ist eine sogenannte Legacy Edition, hier gibt es keine Neuerungen und Innovationen in Sachen Gameplay, nur Trikots und Kader wurden aktualisiert. Die Nintendo Switch Version basiert zwar auf den Last-Gen-Konsolen, dennoch wurde deutlich Hand angelegt. FIFA 18 läuft auf der Switch mit 1080p und 60 fps, Texturen sind scharf und es gibt bessere visuelle Effekte als in den Legacy Editionen. Alles in allem macht FIFA 18 auf der Switch einen sehr guten optischen Eindruck – man darf nicht vergessen, dass die Switch eine portable Konsole ist.
