Even more Forest Fliers, more RC planes and miniquads here in Tokoroa, New Zealand. A cold day but a great turnout with lots of fun had by all. We also discovered that this miniquad racing is a bit harder than you'd think -- but well worth the effort and broken props.
A big welcome to new member Phil who has to drive an hour and a half to get here but had a ball with his QAV250 and it was great to see that Neil, a regular from the SWMAC days, is keen as beans to get into miniquads.
It's starting to look as if Tokoroa will be the center of mini-quadcopter racing in this country.
The generous farmer who lets us use his property has said he'll be putting in a runway for our wheeled models -- woohoo!
No Roddy Moment this time but watch for the next Roddy video with the AXN "floater" -- will it fly?
