PSVR | Resident Evil 7 – PS4 vs. PSVR on PS4 Experimental Graphics Comparison

We compare the graphics of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard on PS4 with PSDVR played on PS4. Please see this video as an experiment. It can not show in any way the intense immersion and depth of this game played with PSVR. This is only to show the differences in graphics from a technical perspective. Even though we took great care to get the scenes as accurate as possible, they are not the same. The Field of view of the PSVR version is somewhere at 100, while the PS4 version at 80. Nonetheless our video shows some differences in graphics, for example the missing volumetric rays in the PSVR version.

Wir vergleichen die Grafik von Resident Evil 7 Biohazard der PS4 mit der PSVR gespielt auf einer PS4. Das Video ist als Experiment anzusehen. Wir können den optischen Eindruck und die Immersion beim tatsächlichen Spielen mit PSVR nur bedingt wiedergeben. Das Video dient viel mehr dazu, grafische Unterschiede gegenüber der Darstellung ohne VR-Modus zu verdeutlichen. Obwohl wir die Szenen so exakt wie möglich aufgenommen haben, sind sie nicht identisch, da sich das Sichtfeld auf beiden Plattformen stark unterscheidet. Während das Sichtfeld bei der PSVR bei etwa 100 Grad liegt, ist es bei der PS4 auf 80 eingestellt. Nichtsdestotrotz sieht man einige Unterschiede in der Grafik, zum Beispiel die fehlenden volumetrischen Strahlen auf der PSVR.
