In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew provides a preview of the Drones Data X Conference, scheduled for June 3-5 in San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California. The event begins with a one-day conference and exhibition at the Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District. It will feature speakers that include Chris Anderson of 3D Robotics, Romeo Durscher from DJI, Michael Drobac from the Small UAV Coaltion and Drone Deploy founder Mike Winn, as well as Markus Kuhn of Maersk Lines and Remi El-Ouazzane, CEO of Movidius, among many others. The Roswell Flight Test Crew's own Patrick “Lucidity” Sherman will appear with the generous support of Copter Shop Ireland and iFly Technology. The conference will also include a exhibition hall with booths from DJI, Velodyne LIDAR, Alta Devices and RotorDrone magazine. Following the conference, the organizers are hosting a VIP weekend in Santa Cruz, bringing together entrepreneurs, company founders, executives and others for a private, invitation-only event for networking, outdoor recreation tech talks, and more.
