In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Christian Domecq at B&H Photo about the online retail behemoth's selection of drones and drone accessories, including a selection of aircraft from manufacturers that include DJI, 3D Robotics, Yuneec, Freefly Systems, Autel Robotics, Horizon Hobby and others. Based on their overall perspective on the industry, Domecq says that a key trend he sees emerging is modular components, such as the detachable camera gimbal on the Autel X-Star. He also discusses a few new accessories he sees gaining popularity, including the Lume Cube: a compact, drone-mounted flashlight controlled with a Bluetooth-enabled smart phone, and also the Freefly Systems Mimic remote camera gimbal control.
