Starting out another day, leaving our Hotel Tiziano, walking over to the Campo de Fiori, which is only three blocks away. We are there in a couple of minutes for a look at this outdoor vegetable market. Early-birds will be rewarded for it is one of the only places in Rome that have something happening at 6:30am, when the vendors are just setting up their stands. Another early rarity are the several cafes that open at 6:00am, pumping out that dark fuel to get you going. So if you are an early-bird do consider coming out to this market at the crack of dawn. At any rate, get here before 8:00 am because you have another busy day ahead of you.
And then we dropped by a famous bakery called Roscoli. Located just a few blocks from the Campo de Fiori, of course, there open early, baking their fresh bread, they also have handmade pasta, a variety of cookies and other wonderful baked goods. They also serve various kinds of damages and other types of takeout food, so it's no longer just simply a bakery.
After our early morning walk. We continue on another adventure, to the Vatican Museum. We then walk around the corner in to St. Peter's Basilica, the world's largest church and the most beautiful room ever built.
Then we take a walk through some of the back streets of Rome, including the neighborhoods of Spagna, via Giulia, via Coronari and then finally into Trastevere.
