100mph RadJet Ultra Maiden Flight - RCLifeOn

This was my very first flight of the RadJet Ultra from Hobbyking. If you haven't seen the build video there's a link above. Here's some comments about the build:
-Glue the edges of the stickers to prevent them from ripping off during high speeds.
-The center of gravity should be 20mm from the leading edge.
-Buy APC propellers, as the included propellers are quite flimsy.
With a 4s battery and all stock components, this airplane should be able to reach speeds over 100mph (according to Hobbyking). However, I found the top speed to be 74mph, wich is very disappointing. I was using the Quanum GPS logger found here:
With a Zippy 4s 2200mah 25C lithium polymer the total flying time was only about 5 minutes (several full throttle passes). Overall, the plane is a strong construction with no flexing parts. With that being said, my recommendation if you would like a true 100mph airplane. Purchase the KIT, not the PNF version of this specific airplane. KIT basically means that only the airframe is included, this makes you able to pick a more powerful brushless motor and speed controller.
