The setup I am running is rather standard, though I have completed a few tweaks for my driving style. First, viewers ask about my sound kit. It is an "Ess-One" programmable sound box. I buy them on ebay. It is not waterproof, but its pretty neat, regardless. There are many unique features it has, if you plug it into your PC.
The tires I am running, are 2.2 RC4WD mudslingers.
I am running them without foam, and without air pressure. The sidewalls are strong enough to hold up the weight of this light truck. That's the secret to a good climber.. keep the truck light, and able to grip. Because these tires are foamless, watch as the tires flex to the contours of the rock. This is a god trick for Tough Truck Competition Trucks (TTC). The ESC is a Tekin FXR. I have waterproofed this esc.. and it is good for mud and handling a 3s lipo. I am running an Axial 27t Brushed motor, as I find the hard brushes really do well in wet, and muddy conditions. These motors are relatively affordable, and last through "more then average" abuse.
My Servo for steering is a Savox WP. WP is shorthand for Waterproof. I have a higher end model of servo, offering me more then 200oz oz torque. Ample for this power house of a truck.
The Light Bar I have installed, is not a high output LED. It is a lesser expensive model, and is available online. Search for "Axial 1/10 SCX10 Jeep Wrangler C/R LED Light Bar Set & High".
The Wheel Loader is an Earth Mover 870k from "RC4WD". It's an amazing, and VERY HEAVY machine.. lol!
I hope you enjoyed todays episode of RC ADVENTURES! Thanks for tuning in, and we hope you are inspired to get outside, and enjoy the hobby of RC!
