Josh Brown follows up recent EPs on Relief and This Ain’t Bristol by joining the ever-growing Golf Clap club, dropping his latest ‘Surge EP’ on their outrageously consistent Country Club Disco label.
Josh Brown might very well be one of the most exciting producers in house music. With previous released on Sweat It Out, This Ain’t Bristol and – most recently – Relief, Josh has fast established himself among the scene’s elite, fusing the foundation of urban bass music with state-of- the-art, dancefloor-focussed productions.
‘Primo’ is gentler, but no less impactful: with richly melodic synths providing a haunting backdrop to muted percussion and a heady bassline.
