This truck has been missing from the show! WHY?! Well, today I get into it - and mount up the "Killer Body" LC70 Land Cruiser body to my RC4WD Trail Finder 2 - "LWB", or "Long Wheel Base" truck kit. I have previously built the truck body on our show, and had to wait until the proper mounting kit became available. I could have fabricated one easily enough - but I wanted to see how sturdy this mounting kit was. As mentioned in the video, I have seen some creative mounting kits (home jobs), but I know RC4WD does a really good job of making their frame & chassis very strong. Come along with me, and discover the different ups and downs that I had of putting this mounting kit together! I have some tips and tricks that may help you along the way.
A lot of people ask me "where can I get the things to build a truck", so I have compiled a list of everything you would need and have links for you - including my hex driver I used today.
