Ok my friends - let us get up close to the cable steering system (5:15), but FiRST - lets go over some of the upgrades I have installed off camera. These upgrades are being released by Capo in the coming months of 2017 (already released in China), along with the Ace 1. This truck is overdue for the release date across the world, but I was very fortunate to get one (a prototype) while I was visiting in China. The new upgrades are intended to make this one of the sturdiest trail truck / rock buggies that has been designed. I can certainly say that it is a specialty truck.. and from the use I have had with it, I am very pleased with what I see. Its much bigger than an Axial Wraith, and the video just simply doesn't do this beauty of this buggy.
Lot's of folks ask me about the "Hex Drivers" we use for our drill or hand turn drivers - here is a link:
If you want a tool "set" - this one is pretty good:
I have installed the Front Aluminum Bumper, the Upper and Lower suspension links, and the new Link Mount Clamps - off camera - but really wanted to get a good understanding of how the Cable Steering System worked with you guys, the viewers. This way we could discover it together, and you could see it up close.
From what I understand CAPO has made some major R&D improvements to the design of the Ace 1 - and I have a first generation Kit.
