I highly recommend purchasing Wayne's kit, although the V-2 was originally designed to be scratch built.
This is the build video for the very first scratch built V-2, and it was built as part of the development and testing process before the final version of the plans was published. Therefore, there may be some variations in construction details. Where there is a difference, follow the plans, or use your own judgment.
