XK X250 - A 5.8 Ghz FPV Drone Flight Test Review

This 5.8 Ghz FPV quadcopter should be a good trainer for those eventually intending to fly FPV racers. This FPV drone has relatively good control and FPV video range for a toy grade quadcopter. Find it here with $70 flash sale (expires mid Feb 2016)
Pro's
- Good 150 to 200 meter range of both this quadcopter and the FPV video makes this a great FPV trainer. Although it does not have altitude hold, it is a realistic intermediate trainer for those intending to transition to FPV racers (they don't have altitude hold either ;).
- Records in 720p FPV (although with some jello).
- Does not require FAA registration.
Con's
- Advertised features of "high precision air pressure needle to fix height", and "fail safe function" appear not to have been implemented in this aircraft.
- The screen is relatively dim with no brightness control. You will need to fabricate a good sunscreen to make it visible outdoors.
