Check out the DIY Flite Test airplane called the FT Racer. This is a speed build kit primarily made of Adam's Board. After putting something like this together, it is definitely something to be proud of. If built properly, it can fly just as good, if not better, than planes that cost twice as much as this. However, if you go the route of cutting this out yourself, it could be the cheapest plane you ever own! Cheap does not always mean sacrificing quality, as the FT racer flies like it is on rails and acts like it was born to fly! We highly encourage you to pick up your own FT scratch build plane so you can experience the thrill of flying a DIY plane yourself!
