Taranis X9D mods

EDIT: I'd suggest to discard the idea of signal booster. It gave me more trouble that positive gained... It works on 12v and LiFe battery is not enough, 3s Lipo battery as well- good enough while it is at 12v or above and below that starts giving trouble to the signal. It is so because if the booster is not powered it cuts the signal completely. And there's that over 2W power- I couldn't set my quad or wing on the ground unless I'm at least 3-4m away from them coz of antennas were too close and my aircraft was going into failsafe. Stock Taranis is good for 1-2km safe flights (people done way more than that), and if that's not enough, then I'd suggest to look into UHF systems instead of boosting 2.4ghz radio signal.
Few little things still had to be done, because nothing is good enough for me out of the box, not even a perfect radio :P
Edit: here's a link of 5db antenna ... and a link of the battery I use ... The battery fits just just about, 1mm wider or thicker and it won't fit. Lengthwise OK, still left 10-15mm of space for wires to fold in. For this battery I had to make a plug from 2s battery's balancer plug with the wires sticking out 90deg up.
Edit: I took out the booster shortly after as it was giving more trouble than goodness.
