RC Airplane Made from Recycled PLA - Reuse 3D Plastic Waste

Video Channel
Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
In this episode I will attempt to recycle PLA plastic and make a radio controlled airplane. Everyone who owns a 3D printer knows just how much material is wasted. I had two large batches of failed or unused PLA material, and instead of throwing it away I decided to melt it down to thin sheets in order to make the individual parts for the RC airplane.
I got the idea for melting sheets of PLA from Devin over at MakeAnything:

Electric speed controller:
Lithium polymer battery:
9g servo:
9x5 propeller:
Please, use this video as a source of inspiration rather than an instructional video of how to build an airplane. As the PLA material melts at only 150 degrees celsius, it's very easy to form (even by hand). Maybe we could use the thin plastic sheets for something else? Let me know in the comments below!
