First Look at the Hot, New ALTA Cinema Drone from Freefly

In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew visits Freefly Systems' headquarters in Seattle, Washington, to get a behind-the-scenes look at the ongoing roll out of the ALTA aerial cinema hexacopter. The new drone builds on the success of the company's popular CineStar aircraft, adding a compact, folding-frame design. It has been built to carry Freefly's line of MōVI camera gimbals. Incorporating the new Synapse flight control system, it can be paired with a smartphone app to calibrate the aircraft, create, save and load profiles for different payloads, even change the color of the LEDs at the tips of the motor limbs.
