In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew speaks with Gordon Cockburn of Hobbico about the company's new Ora aerial photography and FPV quadcopter, manufactured by Hubsan as the X4 Pro. Featuring optional one-, two- and three-axis gimbals capable of carrying either Hobbico's proprietary high-definition video camera or the GoPro Hero3 or Hero4 sports cameras, it also features an optional parachute recovery system. Capable of flying for up to 30 minutes, it can operated either using direct user input or autonomously, using a system of waypoints integrated into the custom radio that is included with the unit. It also features an embedded 5.8 GHz video receiver for FPV flying and a separate LCD screen to display aircraft telemetry.
