Click Here To Subscribe! ► - LEARN MORE: I've finally got one of my side projects done! This truck is a Hybrid of a few different vehicles. The chassis and kit is from RC4WD, (but discontinued), and the cab is from a Tonka Dump truck. The back flat deck is a cut-down Tamiya Trailer. I needed a flat deck heavy hauler to add to my fleet. For those who follow my show, no - this is not my Tonka Dump truck. It is a different Tonka I bought for this purpose.
This truck has a 35t motor in it - but I am going to switch it down to a 55t brushed. It will be slower, and give me more torque. The 35t did ok, but was very hot by the end.
The sound you hear in the video is actually not available anymore, but resembles a Servonaut V8 Diesel sound module. It works great with the throttle control.
I will add lights at a later date, but this is a maiden run to test this trucks functionality.
