In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew reviews the Blade Inductrix 200 First-Person View (FPV) quadcopter from Horizon Hobby. Along with the drone, the package includes a three-cell, 11.1 volt, 800 mAH battery, a battery charger and AC power adapter, a manual and a spare set of propellers and a Phillips-head screwdriver. The Inductrix 200 is a Bind-N-Fly (BNF) model, which can be paired with any Spektrum radio for any radio utilizing the DSM2 or DSMX protocol. The drone carries a forward-facing video camera linked to a 25mW video transmitter on the 5.8 GHz band, compatible with FatShark video goggles. The episode concludes with a flight test including eyes-on and FPV flying, as well as a demonstration of the Inductrix 200's crash-resistant design, including multiple, deliberate collisions with a play structure.
