Do you enjoy logic puzzles that pop up on your social network feeds? Do you spend hours grueling over puzzles trying to find their solution? Do you get a rush from finding the answer to a math or word problem, solving a 3D puzzle, navigating a maze? Well we’ve found the best of the best to test you! These are 5 photos to test your intelligence! Let’s begin!
5.) Ball Maze
Original:
Solution:
This puzzle challenges you navigate a puzzle while also correctly navigating through the blue and red balls. The rules of the puzzle are very simple: reach the end of the puzzle while also following an order of red, blue, red, blue, etc. Take a moment to trace your fingers through the puzzle, following the rules. The strictest interpretation of the rules mean you can go backwards if necessary, passing through balls you’ve already passed as long as you pass through in the correct order. Have you figured it out? Feel free to pause the video until you figure out. Here’s the solution.
4.) Word Puzzle
This puzzle tasks you with finding the same word used in 8 places across the same sentence, “I hit him in the eye yesterday.” The word that can fill the blank in one sentence has to fill the blank in any of the other sentences. It’s okay if you need to use a piece of paper or a word document to find the answer. Go through using whatever word you can think of. Although there is one correct answer, there is no stupid answer either. The only stipulation is that it needs to be a real word - not a verbal pause, like “like” or or “um” or “uh.” Have you figured it out yet? The word that works best is “only.”
3.) Three-dimensional Logic Puzzle
This puzzle presents you with a three-dimensional shape created out of blocks. This question is used in real IQ tests to test a person’s spatial problem solving ability. The answer to the question means that the shape needs to have the same arrangement of blocks, even when viewed from a different angle. The answer to this solution lies easily in the fact that each shape has clearly marked blocks that can be used to count the size of each dimension. Have you figured out the answer yet? The answer is B, because it has a long central body of consisting four blocks, a portion with one block, and another portion with three blocks. All of the other answers have blocks arranged in different places!
2.) Find Dog
Original:
Solution:
This is a typical word finder puzzle turned up to 11. Can you find the word “dog” in this collection of Ds Gs and Os? While ordinarily it’s easy to find words in word finder puzzles due to the number of letters used, the incredibly small number of letters used for this puzzle, the same ones used in the word, make it difficult to find the short three letter word, especially among the number of times “god” is spelled out. If you haven’t found it yet, just keep looking, scanning each column, then row, and finally diagonally until you find it. If you haven’t found “dog” yet, go ahead and pause the video until you can find it. Did you pause it? Well here’s your last chance because we’re about to reveal the answer.
1.) Spot the Odd One Out
This puzzle is a bit more difficult than puzzles that ordinarily ask you to spot the difference. At first your eye might be attracted to the purple ball. Then you might consider the square. Maybe it’s the circle without the outline. Or maybe it’s the smaller circle. It’s the circle without the snowflake. Have you figured out yet? We’ll wait. Look for what’s the same among all of these. Alright, time’s up. The generally agreed upon solution is B, the otherwise perfect circle. Why? It’s the only solution that shares a quality with every other single answer. What makes it the same as the other answers is also what makes it stand out.
