RFTC: FPV Drone Participates in Hasty River Search Training Exercise with Fire Department

In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew is back for another flight demonstration with the local fire department in Eugene, Oregon. Their mission is to assist firefighters in conducting a hasty river search in a training scenario: a man floating down the river becomes separated from his inner tube and struggles to swim to a nearby island. The question is whether a small unmanned aircraft system like RQCX-3 Raven equipped with a FLIR thermal imaging camera can locate the victim more quickly than the conventional bank search technique.
