This series of lessons uses the free FPV Freerider simulator to teach a complete beginner how to fly an FPV multirotor in acro (no autoleveling) mode. You can learn to fly a quadcopter at home in front of your computer for almost no money. You can learn to fly without any fear of crashing and breaking an expensive toy. And yes, the things you learn here WILL translate over to real life.
Nose-in circles are one of the most mystifying moves that FPV acro pilots perform. The copter is aimed inwards towards a target and then pivots around the target with the nose continually facing inwards. How do the sticks move to create this move? This video will show you!
Nose-in circles require advanced management of all four of the quadcopter's controls (pitch, yaw, roll, and throttle) simultaneously. The ability to do a smooth and consistent nose-in circle is a mark of a skilled pilot.
