RFTC: The Society Of Aerial Cinematography (SOAC) at AMA Expo 2015
In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from Robert Rodriguez of the Society Of Aerial Cinematography (SOAC). Established in 2013, SOAC is based in Southern California and promotes the safe use of multirotors as aerial camera platforms in film and television production. The society has been working with AbelCine and the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 to host quarterly events in the Los Angeles area, providing local operators with up-to-date information about technology, regulations and other issues that impact the fast-changing field.
