InnoTab Max and LeapPad 3 Introduction & Observations
LeapFrog recently released their LeapPad 3. It has some good aspects to it but there were some some decisions made that I question the logic that brought them to their conclusions.
Vtech is starting to step into a different playing field with their InnoTab Max. Their primary competitor until recent years had been LeapFrog. However, with Android tablets raising in popularity, some parents are buying low end Android tablet instead of Learning Tablets. Vtech saw this coming and has changed the InnoTab Max to be based off Android. This gives it the advantage of not only continuing with their own line of games, but also makes Android apps available thus competing with Kindles, Nooks, and other cheap tablets.
