Red Bull Linecatcher is a French event showcasing the best backcountry specialists in a unique competition format. Thanks to kickers and the natural terrain of the Bécoin face itself, the riders let their imagination run wild and produced some spectacular runs.
Anthony Boronowsky won this first edition of the Red Bull Linecatcher with JP Auclair taking second place and Richard Permin, french Red Bull Athlete, completing the podium.
Le Red Bull Linecatcher 2009, 1er événement mixant ski freestyle et backcountry a réuni l'élite des freeskieurs internationaux à La Plagne les 4 & 5 mars 2009.
C'est Anthony Bonorowski qui remporte l'épreuve devant le canadien JP Auclair, Richard Permin notre frenchie ferme le podium.
Le Red Bull Linecatcher ce sont 10 kickers conçus sur une paroi vierge de la face du Bécoin à La Plagne par Julien Régnier. Les riders ont libre choix de leur trajectoire pour tracer la plus belle ligne possible dans cette descente verticale de 400 m.
